Good morning everybody!

We are in the 5th month of 2024 already, how is that possible? Hopefully everyone reading this is enjoying a great spring so far. As the weather is getting nicer, I find myself getting ready to get out on my bike and log some miles on the road (or in the mountains).

We are seeing mortgage rates still hovering in the high 6’s and haven’t seen them come back to a more comfortable percentage for most buyers. Combine that with the increase in just day to day life across the board, and we are all feeling some financial strain that hopefully has an end or some relief in sight.

Even though rates are higher than a normal historic rate (typically we would like to see rates in the 5’s) it is still true that RENT is 100% INTEREST. Even when the rates are higher, there is no way to build your wealth faster than through home ownership.
